Wood Dye – Single Color Kit – Black (25 Grams)

Transol powdered solvent dyes are vibrant and strong coloring agents. Each kit contains 25 grams of BLACK powdered solvent dye. Our different colored powdered dyes can be combined to form customized colors for your unique design. These dyes are suitable for use in solvent based wood stains and other solvent mixtures. Simply dissolve a small amount of dye in your desired solvent, then wipe or brush onto the wood to create a rustic look. Mix into your polyurethane, wood stain, varnish, lacquer, or other solvent-based paint or coating for a brilliant finish. Some of the typical solvents to use are alcohols, MEK, and toluene. These dyes will not mix well in water-based coatings. Do not use for soaps, cosmetics, or other personal care products.
